Tips for your stay in Jeju City

The Jeju-si (city) is a medium size city with a population of 340,000, having an international airport and a harbor. It is the center of administration and business in Jeju-Do (island), of which the whole population is about 600,000. The transportation in Jeju-si is very convenient with many public route buses and taxis.
In downtown Jeju city, visitors can easily find many dining options including western style, fast food, oriental style (Korean, Japanese, Chinese), and local Jeju food. For everyday-life goods, there are many shops including markets, shopping centers, 24-hour convenience stores, etc, all in a short distance. In regard to personal security and safety, Jeju city is generally very safe all day long just as other places in Korea. However, cautiousness is always necessary.
